Our Journey

18 Years of Excellence

Onwards & Upwards Secondary School opened its doors in 2008, founded by PEAS (Promoting Equality in African Schools), a Britain-based NGO dedicated to expanding access to quality secondary education in East Africa. Situated in Buloba Parish, Wakiso District, the school was established with a clear mission: to provide excellent education that transforms lives and creates opportunities for all students, regardless of their background. Through partnerships with organizations like MTN Uganda, which funded our modern classroom facilities, and the unwavering commitment of our staff and community, we have evolved from a young institution into a respected center of learning. Today, Onwards & Upwards SS continues to uphold its founding values of excellence, integrity, and equal opportunity, preparing students to become the innovative leaders and responsible citizens our nation needs.
