Students seeking admission to Onwards & Upwards SS must meet the following requirements:

For O-Level: Completion of Primary Seven with a good PLE certificate. Students should have passed in at least four subjects including English and Mathematics.

For A-Level: Successful completion of O-Level with a UCE certificate. Minimum aggregate of 20 points in relevant subjects is required.

Additional documents include a birth certificate, recent passport photos, and transfer documents from previous school.

We offer a comprehensive curriculum covering both sciences and humanities:

Sciences: Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Computer Studies, and Agriculture.

Humanities: English Language, Literature, History, Geography, Religious Education, and Fine Art.

Languages: French, Luganda, and Kiswahili.

At A-Level, we offer various subject combinations including HEG, MEG, PCM, PCB, and many more to suit different career paths.

Payment Terms: Fees can be paid in full at the beginning of each term or in installments as agreed with the school administration.

Yes, we offer both boarding and day school options to accommodate different family needs.

Boarding Facilities: Our dormitories are well-maintained with comfortable beds, secure lockers, and adequate sanitation facilities. We have separate boarding sections for boys and girls.

Boarding Life: Boarders benefit from structured study time, three nutritious meals daily, evening prep sessions, and round-the-clock security and supervision.

Day scholars are also welcome and have access to all school facilities during school hours.

We believe in holistic education and offer a wide range of extracurricular activities:

Sports: Football, Basketball, Volleyball, Athletics, Table Tennis, and Netball. We have well-equipped sports facilities and regular inter-house competitions.

Clubs & Societies: Debate Club, Science Club, Drama Club, Music & Dance, Environmental Club, Red Cross Society, and Readers Club.

Leadership: Prefectorial system, School Council, and various committee positions to develop leadership skills.

Students are encouraged to participate in at least one extracurricular activity to develop their talents and social skills.

Regular Reports: Progress reports are issued at the end of each term detailing academic performance, behavior, and attendance.

Parent-Teacher Meetings: Scheduled meetings are held every term where parents can discuss their child's progress directly with teachers.

Communication: Parents can reach teachers and administrators via phone, email, or scheduled visits. We also send SMS updates for important announcements.

Our administration maintains an open-door policy for parent consultations during official working hours.
